May 4th, the PCC's answer to P2A.

After a six-year hiatus, the Spring Classic is back! On May the 4th, come ride the PCC’s answer to P2A. Starting in Mt Pleasant, The Spring Classic takes riders on a punchy 51km route that includes 9k of unassumed roads, as well as gravel and pavement sections.

The Spring Classic is the is the best dirt and off-road cycling event in the Kawarthas! Come help us celebrate it’s return.

Three groups will depart Mt Pleasant with staggered timing to provide everyone with the perfect amount of support, excitement and competition they need.

9:00 - Easier-paced no-drop ride

9:30 - Tempo-paced no-drop ride

10:00 - Competitive ride

Dirt Squad Youth MTB Program registration opens Wednesday April 2 at 7pm.

PCC Dirt Squad Registration Information:

Registration opens on Wednesday April 2, 2025 @ 7pm
Registration Application (and Wait List) will be created through a time stamped Google Form - Parent Name, Email Address and Number of interested Youth.
The registration is first come first served with priority given to past youth member participants that complete the Google Form within 24 hours of the registration opening.
Successful Registrants through the Google Form will be sent a code to proceed with program and insurance registration on CCN. Registration is not complete until program and insurance registration are complete on CCN.

Thank you - without volunteers there would be no PCC Rides

We celebrated all our PCC volunteers for 2024 at Ashburnham Ale House. You know some them for sure:

Our ride leaders are the face of the club and put on some fantastic rides all season long.
The Youth Committee who are providing an amazing learning experience and developing future cycling stars with the Dirt Squad program. The Youth Racing Team put in some amazing performances. Well Done!
The CX committee is still active with one more race to go, the famous President's Cup, but by all accounts the CX season has been stellar with the race quality arguably the best in the province.
Our HunTer Fondo team put on a great event and will donate $12,500 to the hospitals.
Thank you to the board members who work hard behind the scenes to make it possible to get people together on bikes .

Everyone is racing to our Annual General Meeting.

We would rather be riding, but the AGM is an important event and we need enough PCC members for a quorum (about 40), so please come out and support the PCC. It is short but sweet and will include a quick recap of the year, review of financial statements, election of open positions, and of course some snacks!
