Peterborough Compassion Ride

Welcome to the Peterborough Compassion Ride! This event is built on the spirit of adventure, teamwork, and community support.


Routes for everyone of every level to enjoy with friends and raise funds for

The Compassion Project Peterborough.

Team Format

This is a 100% self-supported team-based ride (2 to 8 riders per team) with a designated Team Captain. Every route uses a checkpoint system to verify completion, all leading back to a shared celebratory social and post-ride food.

The Routes

160 km Gravel

Start: Scheduled and staggered, starting at 7:00 am


Route: Delivered in 3 sections as you go. The route is a surprise, and you must navigate it yourself. The route will be paved, with beautiful gravel roads and a few unsurfaced roads in the mix for fun.


Team: Ride in groups of 2-8 people

Start: Window between 10:00-11:00



Route:
(Mostly) Paved Century 105km.  Hopefully many new roads for most riders.

55km Gravel

Start: Window between 11:00-12:00



Route:

General Info

  • Date: July 25th

  • Base Camp (Start/Finish): Douro Park North, 205 Douro Second Line, Douro-Dummer, ON K0L 1S0

  • Sanctioning & Licensing: Peterborough Cycling Club (PCC) membership is not required to participate.

  • Format: Team-based groups (staggered starts based on distance and estimated speed).

  • Distances: 35 and 100km on paved roads. 55 and 160km gravel roads.

  • Food: Enjoy good food from a local food truck and share stories post-ride

The PCC Social Event of the Year!

After your ride, join us for the social event of the year and enjoy some well-earned rest and recovery!


The PCC will have an amazing food truck on site, serving up delicious meals to help you refuel after a great day on the bike. Enjoy music, great food, and the company of fellow riders as you relax along the river in Durocher Park.


Bring a camp chair, kick back, and share stories from the day's adventure with friends old and new.



Food will be available from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
